Orphans is 1 of the 2 new singles belonging to Coldplay which was released October 24, 2019. Another Single titled Arabesque was also released on the same date. The noisy music video lyrics of the song was released on October 24 also and has been watched by 2.1 million times. 2 days later, the music video of the Orphans song was released on the Coldplay YouTube channel precisely on October 26, 2019 and until now it has been spotted by 13 million times by YouTube users. Since the release of the song along with Arabesque, there are many people who peel the meaning of the song Orphans. Moreover, in the first verse, this refers to the event that occurred in April 2018 in Damascus, Syria. There are many who say that way if you are looking for references on various foreign websites. They certainly explain such a thing. When interviewed by a radio, frontman Coldplay, Chris Martin explains about this song. I cite it directly:
I personally consider this song very emotional because it touches on the most basic human feeling of love. This is not only a song about sadness but a song about hope. Hoping that in the future, we can all enjoy a peaceful and serene life, free from all the things that make this world a place of suffering for many people who just want to try to feel what it is at peace. But not only that, we also need to be grateful for what we have received and what we have lived. Keep praying for them to remain diligent and keep the spirit of living. One of my favorite songs at the end of the year 2019 is let alone the latest song from my favorite band. After 4 years of not issuing the album, it was their eighth album and the 2 songs were entered on the album titled Everyday Life which will be released on November 22, 2019. Here's the song lyrics:
I want to know when I can go
Back and get drunk with my friends
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Rosaleem of the Damascene
Yes, she had eyes like the moon
Would have been on the silver screen
But for the missile monsoon
She went, woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
Indigo up in heaven today
Woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
With bombs going boom ba-boom-boom
She say
I want to know when I can go
Back and get drunk with my friends
I want to know when I can go
Back and be young again
Baba would go where the flowers grow
Almond and peach trees in bloom
And he would know just when and what to sow
So golden and opportune
He went, woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
Tulips the colour of honey today
It's true true, woo woo oo-oo-oo
With bombs going boom ba-boom-boom
He say
I want to know when I can go
Back and get drunk with my friends
I want to know when I can go
Back and be young again (yeah)
Woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
Woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
Cherubim Seraphim soon
Come sailing us home by the light of the moon
Oh, I want to know when I can go
Back and get drunk with my friends
I want to know when I can go
Back and feel home again
Woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
I guess we'll be raised on our own then
Woo woo, woo woo oo-oo-oo
I want to be with you 'til the world ends
I want to be with you 'til the whole world ends
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom boom ka, buba de ka
Boom

Some of it’s very personal, about real things in my life, and
some of it’s about things that I see or we see, and some of its about trying
to empathise about what other people are going through.
It’s all about just being human; it [The album] is our
reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere. And there is a lot of
trouble, but there’s also so much positivity and so much great life
happening. So in a way, it’s just trying to make sense of things, saying what
we feel and what we see.
“It seems to me that one of the things that might help people
have a better time, is to put themselves in other people’s shoes; whether
that’s these kids who have to leave Syria, or who grew up in Baltimore, or
whatever it might be. Rather than judging from afar, maybe to think "I
wonder what it’s like to be there”.
